I spent my high school years in the historical Royal Burgh of Cupar. As part of my art studies, I spent a lot of time investigating the unusual closes, wynds of pends of the town. They were once an integral part of the towns streetscape but had fallen into disrepair and misuse.
This series, in a range of mediums focuses on these neglected urban sites and attempts to capture the texture and vibrancy of these spaces that have been taken for granted.
